Worship & Fellowship
It is our hope that you will find hope during this challenging time in the world and we believe that our only true hope is in a relationship with Jesus Christ. As you gather together with other believers in Jesus, you will grow in your own faith and help others grow in theirs. During our weekly meetings you will enjoy the friendship of others who love Jesus, have an opportunity to worship Jesus and be in communion with His Holy Spirit. You are welcome at Awaken, and we look forward to our time with you!
Awaken has opportunities for you to serve in our community. We will help you partner with local organizations and support you as you find the place where you can make the most impact with the gifts you have been given. Whether it is through volunteering, leading worship, teaching a Bible study, or loving on your neighbors we want to help you live out your calling in Christian ministry.
What Should I Expect?
As we meet, we will study through passages in the Bible and have times when we pray or talk with God and seek Him.
All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness. – 2 Timothy 3:16
Can I Bring My Kids?
We are family friendly and encourage you to bring your family into the worship and teaching times.
We believe that when a family participates in worship together, they grow deeper in their relationships and also in their faith.
Jesus said, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these. -Matthew 19:14
How Can I Be Involved?
You are encouraged to bring your Bible or Bible app. As we will likely discuss passages and have time for questions and digging deeper together. Share what you are learning with the group.
We will encourage you to use your musical gifts in worship, get involved in service opportunities or prayer initiatives, or go where God calls in mission and ministry.
Awaken exists to help you grow in your faith so that you can help others grow in theirs.
“In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” – Matthew 5:16
“We are loving God, loving others, and learning to be followers of Jesus together.“
My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.John 15:12-13
